Once again Thanksgiving has come around, and it’s that time of year where we get together, and give thanks with our loved ones and friends. This is the time of year where spending time with loved ones, is more important than anything in the world. I want to say Happy Thanksgiving to anyone that lays there eyes on this content. I’m thankful for having life, being able to spend time with my family and loved ones, having a roof over my head, clothes on back, being healthy etc; the list goes on and on, so even when things may get tough there are a lot of things I can not forget about during those tough times.
So knowing that Thanksgiving is here and everyone seems to be going crazy trying to get in the grocery store, or buy all the utensils you need, it got me thinking…..what is Thanksgiving really about? After looking on Google the first thing that popped up was this….
Thanksgiving has two meanings:
- The expression of gratitude, especially to God
- (in North America) an annual national holiday marked by religious observances and a traditional meal including turkey. The holiday commemorates a harvest festival celebrated by the Pilgrims in 1621, and is held in the US on the fourth Thursday in November. A similar holiday is held in Canada, usually on the second Monday in October.
So Google gave me a better understanding of what Thanksgiving is all about without me having to really do any research.
Thanksgiving is a beautiful and exciting time of year for me and my household. I love the holidays because it reminds me of being cozy in my covers, while watching a good movie, and smelling good food in the air. I get excited because the night of Thanksgiving my family and I always put up our Christmas tree. It’s a tradition me and my family have been doing for years and every year I anticipate this day. I love waking up to the smell of food, followed by a good breakfast, and then get surprises from my loved one, or one of our loved ones always sneaks into town catching us off guard.
This time of year brings out peace in the world which I love the most.
There are so many things you can be thankful for it’s not even funny. You being able to read this content is a blessing alone, some people are unable to see. Enjoy your loved ones, eat lots of food ( not too much, you’ll be sweating it out in the gym tomorrow lol) and relax. If your an entrepreneur as myself take this one day to actually relax…. one day to kick back and be proud of what you have accomplished and look forward to everything you will accomplish in the future. Entrepreneurs work hard, so taking this day to relax and enjoy life is crucial. That goes for my Influx Entrepreneur’s as well, enjoy this day, as work will be there tomorrow, work on what you can tonight, relax tomorrow, and get back to building your business tomorrow.
Once again Happy Thanksgiving, enjoy your day with your loved ones, and don’t get too drunk.
Love To Learn,
P.S Once again Happy Thanksgiving
